The PEI Mutual team is pleased to announce their move to the new office building at 116 Walker Avenue, Summerside.
Our office at 201 Water Street will be closed to the public on:
- Friday, June 19th and
- Monday, June 22nd
Our phone lines will remain open on these days to maintain our service commitment to our policyholders.
On Tuesday, June 23rd we will open for business at our new location at 116 Walker Avenue.
Our new office is an environmentally friendly building constructed with Insulated Concrete Foam (ICF) exterior walls, incorporating mechanical and electrical systems
that have been chosen to lower the building's energy consumption and environmental footprint.
We thank our General Contractor, Wellington Construction and the Architects, Engineers and Project Management team at Coles Associates for their diligent work on this
project. The leadership of Roger Arsenault, Co-owner of Wellington Construction, and Robert Haggis, Architect from Coles Associates is greatly appreciated.

Below is just a short list of some of t he sustainable measures that were incorporated into its design:
- Structural Steel with Insulated Concrete Foam (ICF) exterior walls
- R60 blown-in roof and R12 under slab insulation
- Ground-source Geothermal Heating and Cooling System
- Ventilation system with energy recovery
- LED lighting throughout
- 100% recyclable low VOC carpet tile throughout
- Low VOC paints throughout
- Low-E, argon gas filled thermally-broken Aluminum windows
- Low-flow water fixtures throughout
- All porcelain tile are composed of 40% post-consumer recycled content
- Air-tightness testing in accordance with ASTM E 779 testing requirements was completed indicating that air leakage was far superior to that of a well constructed new building on PEI.
