We offer several benefits to our policyholders. Pay OnlineWe accept premium payments through the telephone or internet banking services provided by all major Banks and Credit Unions. Contact your local branch to arrange this convenient payment option. Policyholders who already use this service can add a payee to their list as PEI Mutual. Mutual RebateAs a Mutual company our excess profits are shared among all policyholders. The level of profit last year enabled our Board of Directors to approve a 10% Mutual Rebate effective May 1, 2006 Residential Claims Free DiscountSince 1994, Policyholders who have been with PEI Mutual for 10 years and have not had a Residential Claim are candidates for a 20% discount in their Residential premium. As of January 1st, 2000, those policyholders remaining Residential Claims free for 15 years are candidates for an additional 5% discount in their Residential premium. As of May 3rd, 2003, those policyholders remaining Residential Claims free for 5 years are candidates for an 10% discount in their Residential premium. Fire ExtinguishersWe hope everyone has at least 1 fire extinguishers in their home. For those that don't have one or would like another, we sell them at cost in two sizes:
Safety SurveysFranklin Sanderson offers free safety advice and suggestions on improving conditions around the home and farm. Franklin is: a licensed Journeyman Electrician; trained in Wood Heat Appliance Safety Installation through WETT and participates on several Canadian Standards Association (CSA) committees. Metal DetectorThere is a metal detector available for those who lose a ring, ear ring, bracelet, or other valuables in the garden or lawn.
