From 1972 to 1996 staff received the Platinum Award which represents 100% participation with minimum average giving per employee of $62. For 1997 and 1998 staff received Gold Award which represents 80% participation with minimum average giving per employee of $50. |

Farmers Helping Farmers
PEI Mutual has a long history of being community minded and concerned about the well being of others. PEI Mutual Insurance Company and the Agents Association were quick to respond to a plea for help in sponsoring water tanks for the Muchui Womens Group in the Meru District of Kenya. Our Agent, Jane MacLaurin, who visited this women's group in January with Farmers Helping Farmers spoke kindly about the hard working women. She indicated that the women would walk up to 6 kilometers a day to purchase water for their families. With the water tanks, the women have indicated the most significant change in their life is that they are now able to get their children to school on time, washed and fed.
