MALCOLM MACFARLANE 1941 - 2009

The Directors, Staff and Agents of PEI Mutual are saddened by the death of retired manager Malcolm MacFarlane. Malcolm died peacefully at the Prince Edward Home in Charlottetown on
Thursday, December 10, 2009. He was manager of PEI Mutual from 1972 to 2001. During this time Malcolm was a major contributor to the mutual insurance system in Canada as a
founding member of the Canadian Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and the Maritime Association of Mutual Insurance Companies. He also served on the Board of Directors of
Farm Mutual Reinsurance Plan. As a respected colleague, Malcolm will be sadly missed.
Our condolences go out to his wife Margaret and their children David, Amy, Gordon and other
family members.
